The best tomato puree is… homemade.
While making dinner this evening I needed some tomato puree… but had none. Here’s a way to make the BEST tomato puree I’ve tasted…
First, take some sundried tomatoes. These are some sundried, organic tomatoes from my garden from last summer:
Next, add some good red wine:
Simmer this gently for about 5 minutes:
Puree this using a blender:
Est, voila! Tomato puree!
